Highlight of the day

Today was our last long form time of the term. Our peer supporters had arranged a shared lunch.

We all brought our offering in. Mine was healthy which the girls groaned at. We had heaps of food but no cups!. What to do?

I remembered that you could actually make origami paper cups that hold water. I found a video tutorial and distributed square paper. The girls folded their paper cups checked with me, then proceeded to try them out.

They WORKED! which was a relief as I didn't want to clear up fizz drink from the carpet. The girls were ecstatic. It was so cool to witness a wow in an adlib lesson.
