2.5 Literacy and numeracy strategies
Apply knowledge and understanding of effective teaching strategies to support students’ literacy and numeracy achievement.

In Mandatory Technology, I have been working with students to understand the basics of technical drawing. This includes numeracy skills such as measurement, scale and angles. Students develop an understanding of geometry and perspective.
In terms of literacy, students are encouraged to broaden their vocabulary and apply this to their evaluation.
