These are two projects that look at design in relation to people. This is related to the Curriculum strand Nature of Technology.

Design in Context: Culture is a collaborative project that requires the students to research and present a cultural monument to the rest of the class.

Design in Context: History is an individual project which requires the student to research and create a static presentation which will be displayed in an a class exhibition as part of shared learning.

This project allows the student to apply and develop their acquired design skills and knowledge to produce a living space with shipping containers.

The project is guided by the individual, with teacher consultation. A project planner with a basic outline is provided, and is personalised by the student.
