Demonstrate commitment to tangata whenuatanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi partnership in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Actively learning and aiming to integrate kupu into learning contexts. aiming to correctly pronounce learners' names . supporting students in practising the Waiata . learning Maori songs and actions . reinforcing cultural expectations such as addressing students sitting on tables . creating opportunities for learners to express their culture and identity within a range of contexts . attending events that include Maori learners and celebrate Maori culture.

This included:
-Support and advice for implementing taonga pūoro unit standards

-Information about pathways to NCEA and the Ngā Toi qualification
