Impressions

This term I've set my class the task of portraying themselves in a ceramic sculpture.

Last week we were exploring impressions, where we took objects that meant something to us or were symbolic of our likes and interests, and pressed them into the clay. I was amazed at how cool the pin wheel was. Here I've applied it to a square brooch and a neck adornment.
